About voluntary disaster prevention association

There are many people in the area who need assistance, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and infants who need assistance during a disaster. Immediately after a disaster, you may not be able to expect support, rescue, or relief from public institutions.

The Voluntary Disaster Prevention Association is a basic organization that directly and indirectly supports local residents in order to reduce damage in such situations. Currently, in Yamato City, voluntary disaster prevention associations are organized in all 150 residents' associations including the Southwestern residents' association. (As of the end of April 2016)
